Your Responsibilities:
Complete all necessary training, including the Zaxbys Shift Leader Development Plan and Food Safety Certification.
Create a high-performance culture, mentoring and coaching team members to meet our standards.
Prioritize excellent guest experiences by resolving issues in a friendly manner.
Maintain a positive environment, enhancing team morale through recognition and leadership.
Communicate shift goals clearly and motivate team members to excel.
Delegate tasks effectively and oversee performance during shifts.
Ensure compliance with Zaxbys’ guidelines, policies, and processes.
Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness to uphold the Zaxbys standard.
Monitor inventory and manage food production for consistent quality.
Plan and ensure the completion of opening and closing duties.
Collaborate with management to track progress on goals.
Ensure cash management policies are correctly followed.
Comply with all local, state, and federal laws.
Handle human resource and risk management concerns promptly.
Perform all other duties necessary for smooth restaurant operations.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older.
Reliable transportation is necessary.
Available to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 40 hours each week.
Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with strong organizational skills.
Previous leadership experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk continuously.
Occasional bending, crouching, or climbing required.
Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Proficient in communicating verbally and in writing.
Work safely with restaurant equipment, including fryers and knives.
