As a Retail Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience by working closely with the team to provide outstanding customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment. Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $20.00 | Year 3 - $20.50 | Year 4 - $20.50 | Year 5 - $21.50 Duties and Responsibilities: You should be able to perform the following duties with or without reasonable accommodation: Exhibit ALDI's core values and competencies consistently. Process customer purchases; maintain cleanliness; stock shelves; and create attractive merchandise displays. Deliver excellent customer service by assisting shoppers throughout their experience. Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain clear communication with management. Provide constructive feedback to management regarding product quality, inventory issues, and store operations. Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock levels for accuracy and quality. Follow cash handling procedures to minimize losses. Comply with company policies and uphold the security and confidentiality of sensitive information. Other duties as assigned. Physical Demands: Ability to lift and stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
