As a Full-Time Retail Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring a vibrant shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking products, assisting with checkout processes, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store. Collaborate with our dedicated ALDI team to deliver outstanding customer service that enhances the shopping journey. Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $20.00 | Year 3 - $20.50 | Year 4 - $20.50 | Year 5 - $21.50 Duties and Responsibilities: All tasks must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. Process customer purchases, maintain the store's cleanliness, and organize shelves and merchandise displays effectively. Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers throughout their experience. Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with store management. Provide management with feedback regarding product offerings, inventory accuracy, scanning errors, and any issues encountered. Participate in conducting inventory counts per guidelines and monitor inventory accuracy. Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses. Follow all company policies and procedures while safeguarding the security and confidentiality of documents and data. Undertake additional duties as assigned. Physical Demands: Ability to stock merchandise from receiving areas to shelving; capable of placing products weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed in this role. Prompt and courteous customer service skills. Ability to efficiently and accurately operate a cash register. Skill in safely using equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers. Capability to perform general cleaning duties to meet company standards. Ability to understand and apply company policies and procedures. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in working both independently and as part of a team. Highly organized with strong attention to detail, following instructions, and multi-tasking efficiently. Must meet any state and local regulations for handling and selling alcoholic beverages. Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred.
