Full-Time Retail Associate Join our dynamic team as a Retail Associate, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.00 | Year 3 - $19.50 | Year 4 - $19.50 | Year 5 - $20.50 Key Responsibilities: Exceed customer expectations through excellent service. Efficiently process customer purchases and manage the cash register. Maintain a clean and neat store environment. Stock shelves and organize merchandise displays effectively. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management. Provide feedback to management regarding products and inventory. Participate in inventory counts and ensure stock accuracy. Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses. Follow all company policies and maintain confidentiality. Perform additional duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Ability to stock and shelve merchandise, including items weighing up to 45 pounds. Required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Capability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Exemplary customer service skills. Proficiency in operating a cash register. Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively. Strong cleaning skills aligned with company standards. Ability to understand and apply company policies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Compliance with state and local laws regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in a retail environment is a plus. A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
