Full-Time Retail Associate Join our team as a Full-Time Retail Associate where you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. In this dynamic position, your responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Position Highlights: Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $20.00 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $20.50; Year 3 - $21.00; Year 4 - $21.00; Year 5 - $22.00 Your Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers throughout their shopping journey. Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with store management. Handle customer purchases efficiently, perform cleaning duties, and ensure shelves and displays are stocked neatly. Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory for accuracy. Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures. Physical Requirements: Capability to stock merchandise and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights. Regular activities include sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking around the store. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Strong ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service. Experience operating a cash register accurately. Ability to operate equipment safely, including electric and manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in a retail environment is advantageous. A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
