Your responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.00 | Year 3 - $19.50 | Year 4 - $19.50 | Year 5 - $20.50 Duties and Responsibilities: Showcase a positive attitude and demonstrate our core values (M.A.P.) in all tasks. Process customer purchases, perform cleaning duties, and stock shelves and displays with care. Provide friendly and efficient service, assisting customers with their shopping needs. Work closely with team members and communicate effectively with management. Offer constructive feedback regarding products, inventory losses, and operational issues to management. Participate in inventory counts and monitor product accuracy. Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses. Follow company policies ensuring the confidentiality and security of important information. Perform other tasks as assigned. Physical Demands: Ability to stock merchandise and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and navigate around the store. Must be capable of performing tasks with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor. Proficiency in operating a cash register accurately. Capability to safely and confidently use store equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow company procedures. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Organized with the ability to multi-task efficiently. Must meet all local and state requirements for handling and selling alcohol. Education and Experience: Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous retail experience is a plus. Combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
