Full-Time Retail Associate Join our team as a Retail Associate and play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, managing cashier duties, and maintaining store cleanliness. By collaborating with your colleagues, you will ensure that our customers receive outstanding service. Position Details: Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $17.50 | Year 3 - $18.00 | Year 4 - $18.00 | Year 5 - $19.00 Your Key Responsibilities: Execute duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Exhibit the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills while processing customer purchases and maintaining a clean store. Provide exceptional service and assist customers in their shopping experience. Work collaboratively with your team and maintain clear communication with management. Give feedback on product performance, inventory discrepancies, and scanning issues. Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory for precision. Follow cash policies and procedures diligently. Adhere to all company policies while ensuring the confidentiality of documents and data. Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Ability to stock items and manage products weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and navigate the store. Must perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older to apply. Deliver prompt and polite customer service. Efficiently manage a cash register. Safely and properly utilize equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers. Conduct cleaning tasks to meet company standards. Interpret and apply company policies effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team. Maintain organization and attention to detail while multitasking. Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in a retail environment is preferred. A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge is also acceptable.
