Full-Time Retail Associate As a Retail Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining a vibrant store environment through merchandising, stocking products, and delivering excellent customer service. You will work closely with your team to enhance the shopping experience for customers at ALDI. Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour Duties and Responsibilities: You will need to effectively perform these tasks with or without accommodations. Showcase the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) relevant to your role. Process customer purchases, keep the sales floor clean, and neatly stock shelves and merchandise displays. Deliver exceptional customer service and help customers during their shopping experience. Collaborate with teammates and communicate effectively with the management team. Provide management with insights on products, inventory discrepancies, scanning errors, and general concerns. Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy following company guidelines. Follow cash handling policies and procedures to prevent losses. Adhere to all company policies while ensuring the security and confidentiality of documents and data. Perform additional duties as needed. Physical Demands: Capability to stock merchandise from receiving areas to shelves; ability to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Ability to perform tasks with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI. Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service. Proficiency in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently. Skill in safely using equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers. Capability to perform general cleaning duties up to company standards. Ability to understand and implement company policies and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions while multitasking effectively. Must meet any state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages. Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior experience in a retail environment is a plus. A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
