Join Our Team as a Full-Time Retail Associate! As a Retail Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring our store is well-stocked and inviting. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, providing exceptional service at the checkout, and maintaining a clean store environment. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers. Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.00 | Year 3 - $18.50 | Year 4 - $18.50 | Year 5 - $19.50 Your Responsibilities Will Include: Upholding the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) for the role. Efficiently processing customer purchases and maintaining a tidy environment. Delivering outstanding customer service and assisting shoppers with their needs. Working closely with team members and communicating effectively with management. Providing valuable feedback on products, inventory issues, and store operations. Participating in inventory counts and ensuring accuracy in stock levels. Adhering to cash handling policies to minimize losses. Following all company policies and procedures to maintain security and confidentiality. Performing other tasks as assigned by management. Physical Requirements: Ability to stock merchandise and lift items weighing up to 45 pounds at different heights. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and move throughout the store. Ability to perform all tasks with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Strong customer service skills. Efficient and accurate cash register operation. Ability to safely use equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking. Must meet local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
