We are excited to welcome a Full-Time Retail Assistant Leader who will help energize our civic-minded, pop culture-driven brand. You’ll collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve store objectives related to sales targets, team recruitment, and development. Think of yourself as a blend of Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker; capable of tackling any challenge while driving sales and creating lasting relationships with our customers. WHAT YOU'LL DO Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales goals and driving overall performance. It’s not just about the numbers, but they do matter! Help recruit, develop, and retain a dynamic, collaborative team to support store operations. Become the store’s biggest advocate by creating excitement and customer engagement through product promotion, social media, and additional services like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Provide leadership for maintaining an efficiently run store, balancing operational tasks with a customer-first approach. Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules diligently. Communicate effectively with retail leadership and HQ partners regarding trends and customer feedback. Analyze sales reports and utilize data to steer strategies towards achieving sales targets. Merchandise the store in an engaging manner while adhering to planograms, ensuring timely promotion launches. In partnership with the Store Manager, cultivate a high-performing, customer-focused team. WHAT YOU'LL NEED A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in retail store management. If you're passionate about philanthropy and pop culture, this is your chance! Proven success in leading teams and a strong skillset in communication, recruitment, operations (including payroll and merchandising), and team development. Exceptional abilities in communication, time management, professionalism, and a commitment to developing your team. Must be at least 18 years old to apply. A high school diploma or GED is required; a degree is a plus! Ability to adapt quickly to the fast-paced retail environment and handle unexpected challenges. The physical requirements of the job include navigating the store, merchandising products with approved equipment, and handling product boxes up to 50 pounds. Compensation: $21.70 - $26.05 per hour.
