Edenbrook Sheboygan, part of the Eden Senior Care Network, is looking for a Full-time Housekeeper for our wonderful facility!
Position: Full-time Housekeeper
Schedule: (Monday to Friday, 32 to 40 hours per week) (Must be amenable to working every other weekend and Holidays).
Position Summary:
As a Housekeeper at Edenbrook Sheboygan , you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and homelike environment throughout the facility. Your work ensures the health and safety of residents, staff, and visitors while helping create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility spaces according to established cleaning protocols
Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and buffing
Remove trash and soiled linens and restock supplies as needed
Follow infection control and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel
Interact respectfully and compassionately with residents, families, and staff
Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus, but not required
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate and respectful attitude toward elderly residents
