As a crucial part of the Customer Service & E-Commerce team, your responsibilities will involve assisting customers during the checkout process, operating cash register functions, and working at the customer service desk. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Front End areas, including changing register tapes and ribbons as needed. Strictly follow cash handling policies while striving to meet regional cashier variance guidelines. Assist in training new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members. Support the supervisor in managing customer flow and reducing wait times. Actively participate in company initiatives as directed by leadership. Arrive to work on time, well-groomed and prepared; fulfill all scheduled shifts and mandatory training. Deliver stellar customer service, address customer needs promptly, and demonstrate suggestive selling techniques. Enhance sales potential through effective management of product prep, storage, and merchandising. Comply with established procedures related to weights, measures, health, and safety practices. Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment adhering to safety standards. Perform assigned opening, mid, and closing duties and verify accuracy of signs and pricing. Report safety hazards and violations immediately. Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by store or company leadership. Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Stand/walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour workday. Includes hand use for grasping, pushing, and pulling. Engage in bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions. Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals. Experience temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Work in wet and cold environments. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Use tools and equipment such as box cutters and electric pallet jacks. May need to use ladders.
