As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers, promoting products, and maintaining an inviting store environment. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend products that meet those needs. Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos and upselling techniques. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments. Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory. Assist in merchandising efforts to create appealing displays that attract customers. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations within the store. Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their shopping experience. Qualifications Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. Experience in upselling techniques and product demonstrations is a plus. Bilingual abilities are highly regarded, as they enhance communication with a broader customer base. Basic knowledge of retail math to assist with inventory management and sales reporting is beneficial. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
