As a Hospital Security Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure environment for patients, employees, and visitors. Your responsibilities include actively monitoring the premises and responding to any incidents or emergencies. Hospital Security Guard - $21.00/hr Location: Marlborough, MA Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM Your primary duties will encompass: Surveillance : Monitor security cameras and patrol assigned areas to identify suspicious behavior and ensure safety. Access Control : Enforce entry protocols, check IDs, and issue visitor passes while restricting access to authorized personnel. Emergency Response : Act quickly to alarms and emergencies, including medical or fire situations, and liaise with law enforcement as necessary. Incident Reporting : Write detailed reports on incidents, suspicious activities, and safety concerns to facilitate future investigations. Patrolling : Conduct foot or vehicle patrols, ensuring all entrances and exits are secure and identifying any vulnerabilities. Customer Service : Greet and assist visitors and employees, providing directions and information in a friendly and professional manner. Safety Inspections : Assess premises for safety hazards and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations. Conflict Resolution : Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage any disturbances and maintain a peaceful environment. Collaboration : Foster cooperative relationships with fellow security personnel and emergency responders to enhance overall safety efforts. Qualifications: Healthcare or customer service experience is preferred. Exceptional observational and de-escalation skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure. Strong communication abilities for effective interaction with diverse teams. Commitment to ethical standards and safety protocols at all times. Basic computer proficiency is required. Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Reliable communication and transportation means. Legal right to work in the United States. Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
