Full Time Residential Cook/Housekeeper

Location: Huntington

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm (some flexibility)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining cleanliness and providing regular cleaning of program
• Performing meal planning and food shopping
• Preparing meals for the people we support with various diet restrictions
• Adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations
• Being a member of a highly effective team (Teamwork within the circle of support)
• Building positive relationships

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Work or life experience within the intellectual/developmental disabilities field is a plus
• Basic written and verbal communication
• Basic computer knowledge
• Valid Driver's License required
• Tuberculosis test mandatory for most positions

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Willing to take initiative

Compensation: $16.78/hour
