While the role leans toward back-end development — enhancing architecture, building integrations, and supporting large-scale WordPress multisite environments — you’ll also contribute to front-end features using HTML, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript. Our stack includes Laravel, WordPress, and modern JavaScript frameworks like Next.js, with a strong emphasis on database management, API integrations, and scalable application design. In this role, you’ll also take ownership of maintaining and expanding our WordPress multisite network, ensuring reliability, performance, and long-term sustainability. Essential Job Functions:Design and build custom features in Laravel and WordPress (themes, plugins, and multisite). Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrations with services like S3 and Mailchimp. Optimize system performance and reliability, from database queries to server configuration. Implement security best practices to protect applications and data. Collaborate with front-end designers to build new features using HTML, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript. Write and maintain tests for critical application features. Refactor and modernize legacy code to improve maintainability. Compensation details: 55000-75000 Yearly SalaryPIb8d83f9d739c-30070-38492838
