Job Title Omni Charlottesville Hotel is seeking a Food Runner/Room Service Server Job Description The Omni Charlottesville Hotel is seeking a Food Runner/Room Service Server to join the Hillock team at our brand-new upscale restaurant. Responsibilities The responsibilities include: Bringing food from the kitchen to tables to support the servers. Assisting servers during meal period. Having knowledge of all menu items. Greeting guests in a warm and friendly manner. Providing water service to our guests. Assisting the server with pre busing of plates. Assisting servers in any capacity to ensure guest satisfaction. Performing any additional duties assigned by supervisor or management. Qualifications The qualifications include: Enjoying guest interaction. Being able to work in a fast-paced environment. Being able to multitask. Being able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift. Being able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight without assistance. Being able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Having ServSafe Food Handlers and TIPS Alcohol Certification or being able to attain certification.
