Floating Training Shift Lead Job Title: Training Supervisor Department Operations FLSA Status: Full Time – Hourly Reports to: Area Director
OVERVIEW: This position will focus primarily on training for new openings, while also providing operational support as Floating Shift Leads when not assigned to an opening. Team members will rotate to various locations within their assigned area – or to other areas they are willing to travel to – based on business needs.
Essential Functions Serve as part of the NRO training team for new restaurant openings Function as a floating shift lead at assigned or nearby locations when not participating in an NRO Provide hands-on training, mentorship, and operational guidance to new team members Travel to various locations to provide on-site leadership and training support Supervise and coordinate daily activities of restaurant staff to maintain high service standards Train and onboard new employees, ensuring they understand company policies and procedures Handle customer complaints and feedback promptly to enhance guest satisfaction Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment Assist in the preparation of reports related to shift operations, including sales and employee performance Lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and motivating staff to deliver exceptional service Other related duties as assigned for Operations
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Must possess a high degree of integrity, professionalism, reliability, and trustworthiness Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail Skilled at multi-tasking effectively, working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision
JOB REQUIREMENTS High school diploma/GED preferred Must be at least 18 years old and fluent in English Upon hire, the candidate must complete the Manager-In-Training (MIT) program and pass ServSafe Certification within three months Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, opening and closing shifts Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to bend and lift 50 lbs comfortably Ability to work in close quarters and around heat Positive attitude while conducting all duties Commitment to Guest satisfaction. Look at Restaurant Operations from the Guest’s point of view Effective communicator with co-works and the Restaurant Management Team Excellent organization, planning, time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills Must have reliable transportation to work
