Field Service Technician – Industrial Equipment (Base + Overtime) We’re looking for a skilled Field Service Technician with experience working on large-scale industrial equipment who’s ready for a role with variety, travel, and big responsibility. This is a unique chance to work on some of the largest machines in the industry —including the biggest one in North America—while building towards a potential leadership role. Company-provided service vehicle, tools, and all travel expenses covered. What You’ll Do Conduct equipment inspections and produce detailed reports. Supervise job sites, managing crews of 5–6 for 1–2 weeks at a time. Troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain large mechanical equipment. Coordinate with international technical teams. Ensure safety protocols are followed on all projects. Build strong relationships with customers and provide solutions tailored to their needs. What We’re Looking For Proven field service experience with heavy industrial equipment (not limited to diesel engines). Strong troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance skills. Willingness to travel ~50% (primarily Southeast US; some Midwest, Northeast, Pacific Northwest; occasional Canada/Mexico trips). Ability to adapt to changing schedules and job site demands. Supervisory experience in managing crews. Familiarity with mobile tools and field reporting applications. Technical degree or relevant certifications preferred. Location Preferably within 200 miles of Augusta, GA (Atlanta, Charlotte, Columbia, Savannah, Jacksonville all considered). Can work from home when not traveling. Compensation & Perks $80,000 base salary + overtime (~$100,000 total expected first year). Company service van with tools and specialty equipment.
