The Field Service Technician is responsible for the daily execution of waste and recycling cart services, focusing on providing excellent service to the residents of municipal waste & recycling hauler customers. This position involves efficient and safe delivery, removal, repair, and exchange of waste carts, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational excellence. The Field Service Technician plays a key role in representing the company positively through direct interaction with residents and adherence to all company policies and safety procedures. This is a full-time position operating from the assigned field service location.

Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate company vehicles to perform scheduled routes for waste and recycling cart delivery, removal, repair, and exchange.
* Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness to ensure safe and efficient operations.
* Accurately record service activities and inventory movements using company systems, including handheld tablets or computers.
* Interact professionally and courteously with residents to address service inquiries or resolve minor issues related to cart services.
* Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure personal safety and the safety of the public.
* Maintain assigned equipment and tools, including electronic devices, in good working order.
* Assist with maintaining accurate site inventory counts as directed by the Field Supervisor.
* Work collaboratively with yard personnel and the Field Supervisor to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Report any service issues, vehicle problems, or safety concerns promptly to the Field Supervisor.
* Maintain a high standard of work quality and efficiency, contributing to the team's performance goals.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required.
* Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving waste carts of various sizes.
* Proficiency in using tablets, computers, and related IT systems for navigation, record-keeping, and communication.
* Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently on assigned routes.
* Basic record-keeping skills.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work flexible hours, potentially including weekends, as needed to meet service demands.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
