As a Field Service Engineer I-Conveyor here at Honeywell, you'll play a key part in delivering exceptional technical support and service to our customers, ensuring our systems and solutions operate at peak performance. Your expertise will directly influence customer satisfaction and system reliability. You'll apply a blend of mechanical, electrical, and occasionally controls-based skills to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize our technologies. Your contributions will enhance operational efficiency and elevate the customer experience, making you an essential part of our success. You will report directly to one of our Sr Field Service Supervisors. This role will support Clients primarily in the NE states, but also in adjacent states and throughout the U.S. Ideal candidates will be based within a 200-mile radius of Allentown, PA. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Make travel arrangements daily or weekly basis
Write a detailed daily / weekly report for each job location and send to the office
Complete a weekly electronic expense report and send in the receipts to the office
Send all copies of programs, redline drawings, and weekly reports to the office for proper archival at completion of job
Carry mechanical and electrical tools from job to job, including laptop and tool case
Discuss objectives with the customer when on-site
Provide technical support and service for Honeywell systems and solutions
Conduct on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of equipment
Perform or assist with mechanical and electrical installation or modification to Intelligrated and Legacy equipment
Troubleshoot and debug all issues including mechanical, electrical, or programming using the provided drawings/direction
Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Communicate issues, successes, and delays with the Customer, project manager, team members and regional management daily. This may include but not exclusive to Electronic Issue Reports
Due to the nature of this discipline, on occasion, maybe required to work off-hours, on weekends, and/or holiday
Be capable of traveling at a moment notice weekday or weekend
100% travel-based assignments. Expect 30% of time to be travel

Must have hands-on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and controls experience
Experience with automation systems and control technologies, ie, Motors/VFD's/PLC's
High School Diploma or GED
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and time management skills
Valid Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell
WE VALUE Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
Experience with PLC, Conveyor, Packaging, Palletizing, Sortation, ASRS, Automated Storage, Material Handling
Experience with electrical wiring and reading of schematics
Good communication and report writing skills
Experience in customer service and support roles
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
