Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury cases from intake to resolution. 2. Conduct thorough legal research and review medical records to gather crucial case-related information. 3. Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients. 4. Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, and court filings. 5. Lead and participate in team meetings and case reviews to ensure effective case management. 6. Maintain a high level of client service, ensuring client satisfaction through regular communication and updates. 7. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations. 8. Collaborate with team members and other attorneys to ensure a cohesive approach to case management. 9. Stay updated with changes in personal injury law and adapt strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. 2. Active membership in the Texas State Bar. 3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in plaintiff law, preferably in a high-volume litigation law firm. 4. Demonstrated experience in case management, docket management, and litigation management. 5. Proficient in legal drafting, legal writing, and legal research. 6. Experience in medical record review, analysis, and management. 7. Proficiency in drafting complaints, court filings, and motions. 8. Exceptional client management skills, with a proven record of maintaining client satisfaction. 9. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. 10. Proficiency in using legal software, PACER, and Excel. 11. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members. 12. Ability to handle a high-volume caseload efficiently and effectively. 13. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 14. Commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
