Location: Newport Beach, California Duties: Handle family law cases, including divorce, prenuptial/postnuptial agreements, child support modifications, and related matters. Manage litigation from inception to resolution, including legal research, drafting pleadings, and motions. Represent clients in court and during hearings. Prepare for, take, and defend depositions. Brief and argue discovery and dispositive motions. Attend mediations and work with opposing counsel. Interface with clients to provide updates and guidance on case developments. Manage a caseload independently while collaborating with team members. Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of experience handling family law litigation matters. Experience preparing for and handling depositions, briefing and arguing motions, and attending mediations. Trial experience is a plus. Expertise in analyzing, researching, and drafting legal briefs and pleadings for complex family law matters. Strong ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with colleagues. Client-focused mindset with a passion for achieving successful outcomes. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active bar license with the State Bar of California. Skills: Strong legal research and writing skills. Proficient in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery. Excellent communication and advocacy skills. Ability to handle complex family law cases with a client-centered approach. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work effectively in a team environment.
