SSOE is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Facilities Project Management Department Manager . The selected individual will lead and evolve the Facilities Project Management Department to support the successful execution of the Facilities 2030 strategic plan—doubling current project delivery capacity through strategic leadership, talent development, and operational excellence.

We offer a hybrid work schedule for this role. The successful candidate will be based out of, and working "in-office," at one of SSOE's offices at least two days a week.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Coach, direct, and supervise a team of Section Managers and Project Management staff across SSOE’s various regions and countries.
Develop and implement departmental standards, processes, and performance metrics aligned with strategic growth goals.
Ensure technical competency and quality of work across all project management functions.
Champion corporate policies and procedures to the project management staff.
Collaborate with Facilities Department Managers and external Division Managers as needed.
Talent Development & Workforce Planning
Design and execute a scalable hiring, training, and development framework for PM staff at all levels.
Evaluate hiring trends and performance outcomes to refine recruitment strategies.
Establish structured mentorship and on-the-job training programs.
Collaborate on project management training, best practices, and skill development.
Project Execution & Performance Management
Oversee project performance for all Facilities projects with design fees under $1M.
Facilitate monthly financial reviews and ensure recovery plans for at-risk projects.
Assist in staff development to improve performance.
Develop Project Leadership and Execution Strategies based on Lean Construction Institute practices.
Strategic & Financial Accountability
Align departmental operations with corporate objectives.
Monitor and manage departmental budget and staffing.
Support business development efforts.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
10–12 years of project management experience, including 3–5 years in leadership.
Professional registration (PE, RA) preferred.
PMP certification or equivalent strongly preferred.
Key Competencies
Leadership, talent development, communication, financial acumen, collaboration, operational excellence.
Occasional travel, including international, and physical requirements as needed.
