You’ll be responsible for setting our sales strategy and targets, cultivating our sales staff, evaluating their progress, and ensuring we hit our sales goals. $45,000 base plus monthly and year-end bonuses

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure our sales staff achieves their goals by making sales plans for each sales representative, setting individual sales targets, assigning territories, and managing their ongoing training programs
  • Continue company growth by identifying new sales opportunities, emerging markets, and lead generation programs
  • Cultivate long-lasting customer relationships to meet customer needs, and mitigate any complaints to ensure continued business
  • Set our sales strategies and sales objectives to achieve our sales goals
  • Evaluate the team’s sales performance and offer advice on continuous improvement
  • Manage, coach, and develop the best performance from each individual on the team
  • Clearly communicate goals and assign team and individual ownership
  • Hold team members accountable for results
  • Respectfully and appropriately share good news and bad news to get team buy-in
  • Ensure, motivate, and present opportunities to each team member to develop and learn new skills
  • Provide ongoing feedback to team members
  • Ensure that each team member has the necessary resources to do their job well
  • Sell merchandise to consistently meet or exceed sales goals
  • Provide outstanding customer service and a high-quality shopping experience to grow the customer base
  • Be a champion for company culture and uphold store policies and procedures
  • Set the tone for the company's commitment to delivering a great customer experience
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales management as a sales executive or in a leadership role in the sales department
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, training, and conferences
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Selling to customer needs, people skills, dependability, strong communication, and organizational skills
  • Previous retail sales management experience preferred
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
