We are working with our San Francisco, CA based technology client to recruit an Event Marketing Coordinator to join their team for a 6+ month contract role, set to be fully remote with a preference for candidates based in the Bay Area. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting event logistics, planning and execution of a variety of local brand events that drive everything from awareness to community engagement and lead generation. As this is a contract role, you will need to jump in and hit the ground running in the midst of even plans and execution. To be a fit, you should bring 2+ years of event planning, event logistics, vendor communication and project management. There is a strong preference for candidates with experience working in SaaS or technology organizations, either in-house or as an event agency partner.
This is an opportunity to join a well-known technology brand that treats their contractors just like permanent staff! This is a 40 hour per week, W2 contract working through LHH. Pay for this role ranges from $27 to $32 an hour based on relevant experience, and LHH will provide you with access to medical, dental and vision insurance, paid sick time based on your state of residence, and 401(K). This role is remote, but candidates will need to be comfortable traveling to the Bay Area, and priority will be given to those local to the area for the execution requirements of this role.
You will:
Support event planning, strategy, logistics, vendor management and similar functions for a variety of corporate events, trade shows, sponsorships and more
Work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors and agencies to ensure on-time and on-budget event execution
Ensure successful delivery of local event programs, working with local contacts, vendors, cross-functional team members and more to
Your experience should include:
2+ years of corporate event planning, coordination or other similar experiential marketing experience, ideally working in technology, SaaS or similar businesses
Strong understanding of strategy, logistics, onsite coordination and reporting for a variety events, including (but not limited to) trade shows, partner events, activations, community events and more
Deep comfort in project management software (Asana, Monday.com, etc.)
Experience working closely with vendors, agencies and cross-functional teams
Comfort with onsite, day-of coordination, set up, take down and similar responsibilities
Experience with post-event reporting
