The Entry-Level Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an excellent opportunity for those looking to advance into supervisory positions like Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. This short-term, entry-level role provides essential training in operations and management skills, teaching you how to enhance customer loyalty through exceptional service and immerse yourself in CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon completion of the training program, you will be eligible for promotion to available supervisory positions. In these vital leadership roles, you will support the CVS Store Management team, enhance store performance, and lead staff in ensuring a smooth operation and excellent customer service, especially in the absence of a manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate effectively with store management and colleagues.
Supervise store staff by assigning tasks and following up on activities.
Communicate effectively with both management and store crews.
Assist customers with inquiries and resolve issues.
Promote a culture of customer service by greeting, offering assistance, and thanking each customer.
Address customer relations concerns in line with company policies to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Maintain confidentiality of customer/patient information.
Required Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills, deductive reasoning ability, and proficient computer skills. Excellent communication skills are essential. You must be flexible and willing to work various shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior retail experience.
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Hours:
This is a part-time role, anticipating approximately 20 hours per week.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is between $16.00 and $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and geographical location.
