This MECHATRONIC position requires 80-85% travel.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, repair and troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, and setup of the machine equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and regulatory safety standards
Responsibilities and Duties
•Travel to customer sites to maintain and troubleshoot using company process and quality control equipment, performing a variety of different electrical & electronic work.
•Supervise/Perform installation of new equipment including, assembly, commissioning and start-up.
•Assist and train customer’s operators and maintenance personnel on how to operate our equipment and perform maintenance tasks
•Performs specialized repairs, rebuilds and upgrades of machines on electronic cards, electronic systems, control computers, and communication network.
•Instruct customers' personnel working on the company's proprietary systems and ensure that the work was performed correctly and the components are perfectly functional and calibrated.
•Conduct routine audits and equipment inspections
•Prepare inspection reports, test logs and acceptance protocols
•Maintain open and professional line of communications with customer
•Demonstrate strong safety leadership skills and follows company’s work safety policies
•Be on call and capable of providing after hours emergency services when needed
•Travel within the US, mostly in southeastern region, and Canada.
•Performs other duties as required or assigned
