Job Location: North Kingstown, Rhode Island Job Type: Full Time Shift(s) Available: 1st Compensation: $42.30/hr Benefits Information Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance Health and Wellness Incentives Paid Vacation and Holidays 401(k) with Cargill matching contributions Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition Reimbursement Employee Discounts Principal Accountabilities Performing preventative, predictive, and reactive electrical work throughout the facility Documenting work completed and conditions encountered using maintenance software Installing, maintaining, testing, evaluating, and repairing electrical systems, including medium voltage and motor control circuits Reading and interpreting mechanical/electrical schematics, blueprints, and operation manuals Operating forklifts and/or scissor lifts Following all safety regulations and maintaining a clean work environment Working in variable indoor and outdoor conditions, following PPE guidelines Adhering to physical requirements including standing for long periods, using stairs and ladders, and performing tasks that require bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, and twisting Completing other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Eligibility to work in the US without visa sponsorship Age 18 or older Valid and active Rhode Island Electrical B or M license Proficient in English (verbal and written) Ability to work in various environmental conditions wearing PPE Capacity to work at heights above 4 feet Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when necessary Basic computer skills Experience with electrical troubleshooting and maintenance Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Technical diploma/certification from a trade school or two years of relevant experience Advanced skills in electrical system troubleshooting and maintenance Experience with programming software (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.) Knowledge of food industry technology, such as scales and metal detectors Experience in wiring system layout creation and troubleshooting Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Please note that this position does not include relocation reimbursement.
