About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in keeping production operations running smoothly by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining grading, loading, and packing machines. You will take ownership of both reactive repairs and proactive preventative maintenance, ensuring all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
This hands-on position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, electrical troubleshooting skills, and experience in industrial equipment maintenance who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, set up, and calibrate machines and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair production line equipment, building systems, and support utilities
- Assist processing teams with changeovers, product setups, and startups
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA, state, and company safety policies and procedures
- Keep all work areas clean, organized, and compliant with SQF and GMP standards
- Support quality assurance by immediately reporting any potential issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager
- Maintain facility conditions in alignment with OSHA requirements and internal standards
- Learn and support egg grading system operations
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Background in industrial equipment maintenance strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with pneumatic systems (required)
- Basic understanding of AC/DC electrical systems, wiring, and components
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of FGQ and GMP guidelines preferred
- Moba, Sanovo, or related egg grading experience highly sought after
