Location: Hotel Erwin, Venice Beach, CA
Pay: $21/hour

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. As a Dishwasher at Kassi, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, helping us deliver top-quality service to every guest.


Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all serviceware and kitchenware are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dish station, kitchen, and venue overall
  • Handle proper storage and removal of garbage and soiled linens
  • Operate dishwashing machinery safely and efficiently
  • Follow all opening, closing, and side-work procedures including restocking, equipment cleaning, and station sanitization
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly and safely
  • Report any equipment damage or breakage immediately to management
  • Support the team by assisting with additional cleaning tasks inside and outside the venue as needed
  • Attend pre-service meetings, training sessions, and departmental meetings
  • Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude and work as a collaborative team member
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a dishwasher or porter in a high-volume kitchen preferred
  • Completion of in-venue dishwasher training and valid Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
  • Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and around hot kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork
