Responsibilities What You'll Be Doing Wash dishes, utensils and kitchenware using commercial dishwashers or by hand, ensuring compliance with all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations. Collect trash from warehouse and kitchen areas; wash and re-line cans after each use. Operate trash compactor safely and efficiently for proper waste disposal Break down boxes and transport to the appropriate collection areas Maintain dishwashing equipment and work area, including cleaning and polishing stainless steel surfaces. Assist with unloading of incoming deliveries, verifying orders, and storing products in their correct locations following proper rotation and storage practices (FIFO). Respond promptly to warehouse radio calls during events, delivering products to concession stands and service areas as needed. Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness of warehouse and kitchen floors throughout the shift. Properly store all cleaned dishes, wares, and equipment in designated areas. Assist with food preparation, storing leftover products after events, and cleaning cooler, freezers, and storerooms. Assist in completing a weekly kitchen cleaning list. Clean and safely store all cleaning tools and equipment after use. Use chemical cleaning supplies safely and in accordance with training and safety guidelines. Follow all personal hygiene and sanitation standards to maintain a safe and clean work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by the Culinary Supervisor to support the success of the team. Qualifications What You Need for This Position Self-motivated with a proactive approach to assigned tasks. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, particularly during events. Able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods. Capable of lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds. Comfortable working safely with cleaning chemicals, hot equipment, and other potentially hazardous tools. Able to comply with safety protocols, health codes, and sanitation regulations. Physically able to perform repetitive motion tasks as needed. Team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to help where needed.
