Are you a skilled behavior professional with a heart for adult services and a drive to lead programs that make a real impact on quality of life? TERI Inc. is seeking a full-time Director of Behavior Support Services to oversee our adult behavior support program at our Center for the Arts in San Marcos, CA.
This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the quality and direction of services for adults with developmental disabilities. You'll manage daily operations, supervise staff, and collaborate with a Co-Director to drive innovation and continuous improvement. This position is based at our training center, Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm, offering a consistent schedule that avoids the travel and evening hours common in behavior support roles.

Your Role & Responsibilities –
- Lead daily operations, staffing, and service delivery across behavior support programs
- Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized goals and department-wide initiatives
- Conduct intake assessments, oversee BIPs, and ensure fidelity of implementation
- Collaborate with families, agencies, and other stakeholders to support success
- Work closely with a Co-Director to shape strategic planning, budgets, scheduling, and quality assurance
- Participate in agency-wide leadership meetings, trainings, and initiatives
Qualifications –
- Master’s degree with BCBA certification is strongly preferred
- We also welcome candidates with a bachelor’s degree and active BCaBA certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral needs
- Proven leadership experience in educational, residential, or clinical settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Current driver’s license and ability to meet all employment requirements
Salary –
$80,000 – $85,000 annually
Status –
Full-Time | Exempt
