As Director, Banquets, you will provide vision and leadership that fosters an engaged team and ensures quality, efficiency and superior service at each group function.What you will be doing:Reporting to the Director, Food & Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceDirect and manage all activity related to the Banquet department, ensuring all service standards are followedEnsure all functions maintain a first class and positive visual impact; including ambiance, décor and service deliveryCoach and train the Banquet leadership team in all aspects of the departmentFollow the annual budget and administer it in a fiscally responsible mannerEnsure all financial reporting is maintained and accurate billing for each banquet meeting is recordedRespond to guest concerns and react quickly and professionallyAssume responsibility for all banquet facilities, including cleanliness, repair and maintenance, reporting any deficiencies as requiredAttend pre-conference meetings with clients to confirm all relevant details are communicatedBalance operational, administrative and Colleague needsConduct regularly scheduled departmental meetingsFollow outlet policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverageOther duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious leadership experience in food and beverage requiredComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications requiredUniversity/College degree in a related discipline preferredExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesAdditional InformationSalary Range: $100,000 to $125,000 USD Gross per AnnualVisa: Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United StatesOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
