About the Role: We are actively seeking motivated diesel mechanics! As part of our team, you will ensure that all trucks, trailers, and yard tractors are in optimal working condition and compliant with federal standards. Our distribution center is located at 1900 Cardinal Drive, Fulton, MO 65251. Qualifications: A minimum of one (1) year of experience working on Class A trucks Familiarity with air brakes, hydraulic systems, and electrical components Welding and fabrication experience is required Tire repair experience (including repair, mounting, and dismounting) is preferred Ability to perform DOT inspections to ensure compliance Your Responsibilities Will Include: Diagnosing and repairing truck and trailer components such as doors, floors, side panels, and electrical and air brake systems Carrying out preventive maintenance (PMs) on tractor and trailer equipment, including routine technical repairs and documenting repair orders Performing necessary maintenance repairs to maximize safety and reliability of all fleet vehicles, including tractors, trailers, lift-gates, and other company-owned equipment Following all Company policies and safety procedures to help maintain a clean and safe work environment Assisting drivers in addressing any vehicle issues Maintaining repairs for Class 8 trucks, trailers, and yard tractors Safely operating gauges, forklifts, shunt trucks, torches, grinders, and various hand and power tools Ready to Apply?
