About the Role: As a Diesel Mechanic, you will ensure that all trucks, trailers, and yard tractors are in top-notch condition and compliant with federal standards. Our distribution center is located at 1451 Spartanburg Highway, Jonesville, SC 29353. Requirements: Minimum of one (1) year of experience working on Class A trucks. Familiarity with air brakes, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. Welding and fabrication experience is required. Tire repair experience (repair, mounting, dismounting) is preferred. Ability to perform DOT inspections and ensure compliance. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair components on trucks and trailers, including doors, floors, side panels, and both electrical and air brake systems. Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) on all tractor and trailer equipment, including routine repairs and completion of repair orders. Perform necessary maintenance repairs to maximize safety and reliability across our fleet, including tractors, trailers, lift-gates, and company-owned equipment. Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations and help maintain a clean, safe work environment. Assist drivers in addressing any outstanding vehicle issues. Safely operate gauges, forklifts, shunt trucks, torches, grinders, and various hand and power tools. How to Apply: Request more information by submitting your details.
