We have an exciting opportunity for a Developer I to join our dynamic team. As a Developer I, you will have responsibilities across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a primary focus on development activities. This includes commenting code for peers and testers, performing unit testing, configuration management, and source code control. But that's not all, you'll also be involved in operational support services varying from minor bug fixes to major enhancements.

Some of your important responsibilities will also include:

Application Development and Support: You will develop applications using Agile or Waterfall methodologies and perform coding or configuration management. Implementation of Break/Fix Solutions: You will contribute to the implementation of these solutions, ensuring our systems are always running smoothly. Code Validation: You will organize, build, and validate all segments of the code related to a specific build for final User Acceptance Testing. Code Development: You will determine the best approach in the development of an applications code and find unique ways to resolve issues in the development process.

A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and state seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. While all offers are compliant with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, there is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.

Conditions of Employment:

OIT employees must comply with any screening procedures in place at state entity locations where they might be required to perform work.
