Dental Assistant with Oral Surgery and/or Periodontal Surgery Experience.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our clinical team at Coastal Empire Periodontics & Implant Dentistry. This role is crucial to maintaining our high standards of patient care and plays a vital part in promoting oral health, patient education, and clinical excellence. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences and outcomes, in alignment with our Michelin-star service model.
Clinical Duties: Assisting dentists involves preparing the operatory, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist during procedures.
Patient Care: Preparing patients for treatment, taking radiographs (X-rays and CT scans), and providing post-operative instructions.
Infection Control: Implementing and maintaining infection control protocols, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring a safe clinical environment.
Equipment and Supply Management: Maintaining dental equipment, keeping operatories stocked, and monitoring inventory levels to prevent low stock. Patient Education: Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
Competencies
Expert in X-rays, CBCT/panoramic imaging, and patient charting.
