Day Shift Leader:

Lead the day to day tasks of the ice cream shop, including opening the shop and cash drawer management. Cleaning, organizing and maintaining shop standards. Superb customer service while working with our guests, taking orders and greeting customers. This position earns an hourly wage plus tips.

Requirements:

Must be able to work in Kingston

Ability to work at least 3 shifts a week, Monday through Friday (4 days preferred)

(more hours may be available) standard shift is 12:15 pm to 4:30 pm

1 + year of food service experience required, or equivalent experience

1 + year of customer service experience required, or equivalent experience

Ability to lead by example

Ability to problem solve

Ability to lift and move 25+ pounds

Ability to stand for several hours

Ability to take initiative to make the shop run smoothly

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

* Open the shop following checklist items * Serve our guests with superb customer service * Bake amazing waffle cones, scoop beautiful cones, design and serve gorgeous sundaes and spin the best frappe possible * Restock ice cream, toppings and disposables * Greet every guest as they arrive and leave the shop * Keep the shop neat, and tidy at all times * Take orders over the phone and online * Cash drawer management * Maintain a stocked takeout freezer * Delegate tasks to second shift staff * Follow and implement B's best practices and expectations

Additional Tasks:

Inventory, ice cream flavors, and all other items used throughout the day, cups, spoons, topping and so on

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
