Customer Service Retail Specialist
Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service Retail Specialist, where you will play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in driving sales, enhancing customer service, maintaining store aesthetics, and ensuring smooth operations. You will also take on shift management responsibilities in the absence of the Assistant or Store Manager. We especially encourage bilingual candidates to apply!
Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service to both retail and professional customers.
Oversee customer service performance in the retail showroom, ensuring adherence to company service programs.
Answer incoming phone calls promptly and following company protocols.
Manage orders efficiently, including online purchases shipped to the store, store-to-store transfers, and direct add orders.
Handle special orders and external purchases efficiently in accordance with procedures using our electronic purchasing system.
Facilitate returns and exchanges smoothly and courteously, ensuring accurate refunds and processing of returned items.
Ensure all merchandise is invoiced prior to leaving the store, including core charges and warranties.
Communicate store updates effectively and delegate merchandising tasks to team members as assigned.
Supervise team attendance, ensuring compliance with posted schedules and that any changes are approved by management.
Perform all opening and closing duties, including cash handling, securing the premises, and ensuring the safety of delivery vehicles.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Excellent communication skills.
Able to obtain RSS Certification.
Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in auto parts, is a plus.
Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
ASE Certification is beneficial.
Fluency in additional languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired.
