Customer Service Representative Summary: Engage in various teller and customer service activities to meet client needs. Demonstrate expertise in processing teller transactions and handling essential customer service tasks such as opening basic checking, savings, and certificate of deposit accounts. Adhere to established guidelines, policies, and procedures while selling and servicing deposit accounts, managing inquiries, and resolving customer issues promptly. Possess a strong understanding of the bank's deposit and electronic banking products and services. Utilize needs-based sales techniques to identify referral opportunities and recommend suitable products and services. Requirements for the Customer Service Representative: At least one year of experience in a teller or customer service role within a banking or call center setting. Excellent sales, service, interpersonal, and communication skills. A collaborative attitude with a passion for working in diverse team settings. Strong organizational, technical, and computer proficiencies. Adaptability to change with the ability to multitask effectively. Comprehensive knowledge of teller and customer service processes, policies, and procedures. Solid understanding of banking products and services, with a willingness to expand that knowledge. Key Responsibilities for the Customer Service Representative: Skilled in executing various teller transactions and routine customer service functions. Identify cross-selling opportunities while addressing customer inquiries to recommend appropriate solutions. Assist in opening basic deposit accounts and address electronic banking inquiries and services. Maintain an accurate and efficient cash drawer. Deliver exceptional service to customers, colleagues, and team members. Comprehend and comply with various policies and procedures, including security and compliance. Participate in ongoing training programs focused on sales, service, compliance, and product knowledge. May temporarily support other local branches as needed.
