Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to manage order processing, provide ongoing support to customers, and resolve issues with professionalism and efficiency. This role is critical in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through prompt and effective communication, accurate order entry, and proactive follow-up.
Requirements:
• Receive and process customer orders via phone, email, or online portals with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays or issues that arise.
• Communicate with internal departments (sales, production, shipping) to coordinate order fulfillment.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate customer records, order logs, and correspondence in the company’s CRM or ERP system.
• Monitor and track backorders, substitutions, and returns, keeping customers informed throughout the process.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Support account managers and sales teams as needed with customer updates and order status reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• + years of customer service experience, preferably in an order entry or sales support role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP/CRM systems (, SAP, NetSuite, Salesforce).
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn about the product and gain product knowledge
• Business to Business conversation and sales
• Sales Experience is a plus
