We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a vital role in assisting customers, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional support to customers on the housing waitlist or those seeking to apply for it.
  • Collect physical documents from clients and ensure proper handling and storage.
  • Update company databases with accurate and timely information.
  • Scan, file, and maintain records for efficient access and retrieval.
  • Handle inbound calls professionally and address customer inquiries effectively.
  • Perform clerical and administrative duties to support daily operations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to create, update, and manage documents.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Strong proficiency in data entry and database management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for document handling and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in handling records.
  • Comfortable with answering inbound calls and addressing customer needs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in customer service are a plus.
