Customer Service Representative Hourly Pay Range: $19.31 - $28.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: Customer Service Representative Location: Swedish Hospital Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 32 hours Hours: Monday-Friday, 4pm-10:30pm, rotating weekends and holidays What You Will Do: Demonstrates courteous, respectful, customer-centered behavior at all times including in manner of communication, accountability and presentation. Answers a high volume of calls promptly ensuring outstanding customer service at all times. Responsible for accurate patient registration, specimen accessioning and pre-analytical processing. Follows established protocols and procedures to accurately perform test(s) order entry, specimen labeling and handling and result(s) notification. Resolves outstanding specimen or order related problems, errors or questions in real time and within same shift if possible or within one business day as applicable. Performs clerical duties including report faxing, distribution and general filing. Collects laboratory specimens from clients and delivers reports and lab supplies to clients on a as needed basis. Documents and reports problems and complaints from clients to the Senior Customer Service Representative or in the absence of the Sr. CSR, the Laboratory Supervisor. Assists with the maintenance of daily courier routes. What You Will Need: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Certification: N/A Experience: Prefer two or more years of college course work and/or two years of related medical office or lab experience. Pleasant and outgoing personality, basic typing and computer skills. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Unique or Preferred Skills: Driver's license.
