About The Opportunity
The Customer Experience Specialist, or Camp Scout, reports to the Camp Manager and contributes to our mission by embracing our mission of “Making Dogs Happy”. The Camp Scout will support the local Camp Manager to represent Camp Bow Wow's brand both in Camp and throughout the community. This role is customer service-based and requires the ability to maintain customer relations, limit retention, and communicate effectively to ensure the best customer experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Marketing-Specific:
Promote Camp Bow Wow to increase sales and customer visits, while limiting customer turnover and producing effective results.
Manage customer feedback platforms. Work with management to establish cause, formulate responses, and create a suitable action plan toward finding a solution.
Monitor and review enrichment feedback with clients
Manage local marketing efforts and social media platforms.
Research advertising opportunities to positively promote Camp.
Attend local marketing events. Coordinate and host on and off-site.
Establish partnerships with local businesses and dog parks to maintain relationships.
Manage marketing vendors, costs, and budget.
Create marketing materials through company platforms.
Camp-Specific:
Communicate promotions and upcoming events effectively to Camp employees.
Provide constructive feedback to Camp employees
Actively participate and present as needed in staff meetings.
Consistently interact with every Interview customer to educate about Camp, sell First Day Packages and answer any questions.
Maintain Interview Scheduling.
Meet sales goals and objectives.
Communicate effectively and promote a positive, team environment.
Maintain a healthy and safe environment for Campers, by following all Camp Specific policies and protocol to a fault.
Provide exceptional customer service when assisting or covering Front Desk.
Be attentive to customers’ needs, engage in conversation and interact with Campers.
Address minor customer concerns.
Provide the best customer service experience to Campers and customers
Various Camp Counselor tasks:
Front desk shifts 1-2 shifts a week
Care for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
Monitor, maintain a clean environment and manage dog behavior while in play areas
Engage in one-on-one Enrichment services with the Campers and provide Customer Feedback. Play fetch, run sniff & seek activities, and snuggle sessions!
Clean and maintain kennel, play and common areas.
Feed dogs and administer medications.
Perform bathing and grooming services including baths, nail trimmings, ear cleanings, etc.

Authorized to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift or carry 40+ lbs.
Ability to push or pull up to 40+ lbs.
Ability to reach overhead
Ability to reach at or below shoulder level
Ability to control and withstand resistance from dogs of all sizes on leash
Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
Ability to squat and kneel
Ability to see, hear, and communicate verbally
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Range:
$18.09 to $18.27 hourly
Variable compensation through monthly commission earnings & sales incentives
Job Type:
Full-Time (30+ hours per week)
Part-Time (29 hours or less per week)
Benefits: (dependent on Full Time or Part Time Employment Status)

Vacation Time Accrual
Year 1-4: Up to 120 hours accrued bi-weekly
Years 5-9: Up to 160 hours accrued bi-weekly
Years 10-14: Up to 200 hours accrued bi-weekly
Years 15+: Up to 240 hours accrued bi-weekly
Sick Time allowance as required by federal, state, or other company policy
