Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and creating salads.
Serve meals to residents in line with their dietary needs and appropriate portion sizes.
Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering outstanding customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to follow instructions and collaborate as part of a team.
Possess a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents, staff, and leadership.
Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
Comfortable working around food and cleaning products.
Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required based on State/County law.
Must reside within the service area.
