Job Responsibilities Job Purpose We are seeking a highly organized and welcoming Front Desk Attendant to join our team at the Culinary Institute of the South at the Technical College of the Low Country. In addition to the front desk duties, this person will also be responsible for assisting in the Clist Caf.
Front Desk Duties •Great, welcome and interact with students and guests as they enter the Culinary Institute of the South. Direct guests to the appropriate area or office. Solve routine problems and serve as a knowledgeable resource for current and prospective students. •Receive and distribute incoming shipments and daily mail deliveries. Neatly stock reception areas with office supplies, brochures, etc. reorder as necessary •Create and file various types of information for the purpose of good record keeping •Assist with campus events and tours as necessary including events outside of normal business days and hours Caf Duties •Takes food and beverage orders and prepares them to standards and in a prompt manner. •Setup caf, creates menu, appropriate signage and specials for daily service •Accepts payment and utilizes proper cash handling procedures. •Ability to multi-task and handle multiple customers at the same time •Dress Code requirements will be assigned Minimum and Additional Requirements
