Overview CT Technologist Part Time Job ID: 1580826 at North Shore Medical Center, Miami, FL. This role is part-time and involves performing CT imaging under the direction of a qualified physician, for patients from neonate to geriatric, and ensuring images are transmitted for diagnostic interpretation. Responsibilities Perform neuro and body CT scans following age-specific guidelines. Transmit images for diagnostic interpretation and maintain up-to-date hospital records in the computer system. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships with all patients and staff. Execute a variety of technical scanning procedures that require independent judgment in the application of ionizing radiation for CT procedures. Be responsible for designated areas, policies, and equipment. Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Knowledge of Siemens and Philips CT equipment. Ability to learn and master tasks related to image quality and radiation safety. Effective communication and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Adult and child/infant CPR knowledge. Knowledge of PACS and associated equipment. Experience One-year minimum experience. Organizational and customer service skills; ability to handle multiple tasks. Education and Licensure Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Associate's degree. ARRT (R) (CT). Florida State License - General Radiographer. CPR Basic Life Support (BLS). Additional Requirements Must be able to pass Background and Drug Test screenings.
