JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Location: East Chicago, IN Service Setting: Hospital Inpatient Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM On-Call Expectations: Rotational evening, weekend, and holiday call shared among CRNA team Start Date: Negotiable (Credentialing timeline approximately 90120 days) PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE Patient Demographics: Adult and Geriatric Average Daily Volume / Census: Based on operating room schedule and surgical case load Consults & Follow-Ups: Intraoperative and perioperative anesthesia care Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: General anesthesia services across multiple surgical specialties within hospital setting FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS Beds in Department/Unit: Full-service hospital within a 4-hospital not-for-profit healthcare system EMR System: Epic (HIMSS Stage VII fully integrated system) Specialty Backup: Collaborative Anesthesiology team and full surgical specialty support Support Staff: Dedicated nursing staff, surgical teams, and anesthesia colleagues Leadership & Reporting Structure: Reports to Department of Anesthesiology leadership Reason for Opening: Organizational growth and expansion of physician service lines xsgimln CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE Board Requirements: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required DEA & Certifications: Active RN license, CRNA certification, and applicable state and federal licensure Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90120 days COMPENSATION & PERMANENT BENEFITS Incentive Bonus Structure: Sign-on bonus available; additional compensation based on experience
