Cook/Porter Position At River Oaks Hospital River Oaks Hospital, a private psychiatric facility for adults, adolescents, and children, is seeking a dynamic and talented Cook/Porter Full Time. Located in metropolitan New Orleans, Louisiana, River Oaks has established a tradition of excellence in the treatment of acute psychiatric illness, dual diagnosis, alcohol and drug detoxification, trauma based disorders, compulsive behaviors, and eating disorders. Situated on a 14-acre campus, services are available at all levels of care (inpatient, day or partial hospitalization, outpatient, and intensive outpatient). The Cook/Porter position is cross trained with duties of a Cook and a Porter in order to contribute to an interactive team environment in an inpatient hospital setting while performing routine tasks related to cooking and serving food; cleaning kitchen area and cooking utensils. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-2 years of food service experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
